There's a big problem with Yahoo lyrics. I just queried "Blonde Redhead" and no results came up. Yet, a Google query returns more than 10,000 results.
As a user, I simply do not that Gracenote is powering Yahoo answers. I just want my lyrics. Equally, I don't if care music publishers think it's illegal to post lyrics. After 10 years of lyrics being readily available on the net, and nearly perfected interfaces for browsing lyrics (eg. http://ohhla.com/) they're trying to persuade me to use a subpar product because it's 'legal'? Did Yahoo even look at what makes some of these lyrics sites so compelling?
Seriously, what the heck is wrong with the music industry/publishers? Why not figure out a way to make it legal for users to submit their own lyrics and the community to correct the lyrics, like on all the amateur sites? It's funny, amateurs quickly realized that they can never catalog all the world's music so they enlisted the help of users? What makes professionals so special to think they can accomplish this feat? And Yahoo is at fault too. They _know_ the power of community...look at Yahoo Answers.
As a user, I'm not going to switch to a subpar product just because it's 'legal'. This kind of nonsense really gets on my nerves.

Sorry for the lack of grammar, I'm sort of in a rush.
