The State of the Mobile Reader Market

Judi Sohn has a great post on the sate of the mobile RSS reader market. Her take is that she would love to take the full browser version of Google Reader and sync it with the mobile HTML version of Bloglines. This gets me thinking, we should be able to sync feed states across different readers. Why not?
