Head Counts Indicate PR Rising
Adweek has a great story about dwindling staffing at ad agencies, and rising head counts at PR firms. This indicates that a fundamental shift is underway. The PR biz is now driving the marketing agenda. Futher, the new two-way mode of communications - which is driven by users and Web 2.0 - plays to our industry's strengths in dealing with uncertainty and risk. I don't think the people in ad sales see this coming. It's our game to lose.
