An Edelman client is in the news and it involves the blogosphere, will somebody blog about it? Good question. The answers are not always black and white. Richard Edelman, our CEO, has done a lot of thinking about this and sets expectations.
First, as he mentions, our core obligation is to clients and employees. Second, we won't post about programs when clients request we not do so. When we can talk, we'll do our best to ensure that someone involved comments. Sometimes it may take us time to get all the facts and approvals. Finally, Richard will talk about our foibles (there will be few).
This is not as easy a subject as it may seem. If you think there are other ways we can manage while maintaining the integrity of the conversation and the client relationships, we're open to hearing.
