LonelyBloggers.com: Free Personals for Bloggers
Mike Kaltschnee from Hacking Netflix always tells me that blogging is a lonely labor of love. He's right. Well, guess what? No more. Because now there's LonelyBloggers.com - free personals for bloggers. Looks like the site is just getting ready to launch, according to their blog. The service attaches your blog to your personals profile. Wow is that dangerous or what?

Steve,
Heheh. What I meant by that comment is that blogging is something that I have to do alone, but I'm hardly lonely (I have a wonderful wife and two daughters).
I just hope my wife doesn't think that I'm "looking" now!

P.S. That's NOT a picture of me on the LonelyBloggers.com homepage.

You think linking your blog to your personal ad is scary? Last night, I saw a company pitch their service to link person's IM online presence with location, with the ability to reach out to others who are on IM in the same locational area. Can anyone say 'stalker'?

Ack! One of my worst dates ever was with someone who read my entire blog before our first date. Luckily, it was only 3 or 4 months old at the time. He arrived at dinner on date #7 and I was struggling with date #1.
Nothing is worse than saying, "Well, when I was in Rome..." and your date saying, "I read about that on your blog, great story."
Cause then what do you talk about?
His motorcycle, I guess. Bleh. Personals and Blogs don't mix.

I've got to agree with Leah about dating, or even speaking with, someone who's already read your blog.
Before you even finish a sentence, they'll finish it for you and sum up with ...I read it on your blog.
Gah!
