CrabApple.cc is this utterly amazing site. Get this. See, users upload links, people visit the sites, then they actually vote on them! I know, unbelievable, right? Here's the best part, gang. If a link gets enough votes, it moves from the queue to the front page. How freakin' original! Man, that's gotta be worth $60M to somebody. Next!
There seems to be a big market for self-publishing. I read all 160 pages of the Why Your Life Sucks PDF ebook (thank you to whomever made the deposit - how'd you guess?). I found it enlightening. After all, it was written by the author of Are You As Happy as Your Dog? Take that Dan Brown! Oh by the way my iDisk is becoming a new library of sorts. There are other books here like The Lazy Way to Success, one on Tibetan rejuvenation rites, The Shocking Truth About Action and more. Feel free to peruse - especially if you're having trouble sleeping tonight.
Let's see. Lots of dreck. More dreck. Hmmm, more dreck. Ahh, finally. Here's something of quality from Bill Seaver (no relation to Tom Terrific nor the Growing Pains family). He's got a blog called Micro Explosion and has written two posts. The one on the categories of Web 2.0 is interesting. Bill, I think it's hard to categorize Web 2.0 sites into buckets since there is so much overlap. For example, YouTube is a social network of sorts and a video sharing site that hosts mashups.
OK, getting near the bottom now of my junk drawer. I am reaching towards the back where I keep the Elmer's Glue. Reaaaaching. OK, got it. I found FeedFiles, a repository of scripts, resources and more for RSS. I knew I had that somewhere.
Wait, there's just one more thing. This is amazing and it's available starting today. Presenting a certificate from awesomemillion.com - it scrolls like butter!
