According to an analysis performed by Netcraft, in July the Internet grew by 4.4 million new hostnames. This is the largest one-month gain in new sites and it's being driven by blogging. Microsoft added 858,000 new sites through Windows Live Spaces, while Google through Blogger grew by 568,000 sites last month. (Microsoft is an Edelman client)
