I find that Netvibes makes for an even better feedreader start page -- you can have multiple tabs, and can drag and drop feeds through the magic of Ajax.

I use Netvibes also, and have truly enjoyed this little Ajax wonder. Matt Ingram's feature list is futhered by near-widget integration, such as webnotes, weather, to-do lists, POP/G/Y!-mail, Writely, del.icio.us and much more. I happened upon it by chance, am holding onto it by choice.
