10 Things Every Company Should Monitor

If you don't know Cameron Olthuis' blog, now would be a great time to subscribe. He's been on a tear lately. This is the third time I linked to his blog in a week and his posts are topping digg. His latest is a must read: 10 things you should be monitoring. They are: your company name, company URL, public facing figures, product names, product URLs, industry 'hang outs', employee activity/blogs, conversations, brand image and last but not least competitors.

Steve, thanks for the kind words. I wish I could take all the credit for the great posts but the blog also has another author, Neil Patel. He's written a couple of the posts you linked to.

For what it's worth I've been an avid reader of your blog since long before I starting blogging myself. I have learned a lot of great things from you.

always good to be reminded about these things but isn't that an extension of "how to drive your competition" by guy kawasaki?
