Amanda Congdon Signs with Endeavor Agency

For those who aren't sick of the Rocketboom saga just yet (yes, you Valleywag), I received an anonymous tip that Amanda Congdon has signed with the Endeavor Agency. I have confirmed that this is indeed true. As of this writing, a Google search turns up no results. However, if you visit Amanda's site you will see that the Endeavor Agency is now listed as her point of contact.

The Endeavor talent agency is so cool it doesn't have a Web site. According to Wikipedia, they represent many television and film stars, including Tina Fey, Lisa Kudrow, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler and other heavy hitters. The agency has been seen as an acquisition target for ICM, according to various reports. Hoover's says Interpublic Group, an Edelman competitor, owns a small stake in the bi-coastal firm's marketing arm.

I have several old posts about Amanda, and they are driving traffic once again.

funny, I actually saw the Endeavor contact details on her site already 3 days ago when the saga begun.

So, is it all old media that she now is represented by an agency, or is it a sign of the new times that Endeavor just signed a star video blogger?

That's a good first step for heading out to L.A. You can't get arrested in Hollywood without an agent.

I think she should seriously consider the Calcanis offer though.

@Michael Martine: I'm leaning more toward thinking that this is very old media. It's a little disappointing to see someone who's managed to "make it" to some extent without the help of some big agent finally sign up with one. I'm afraid Amanda will find that while she definitely has a personality and following online, she's not going to stand out in Hollywood.

Steve,
In the comments on Amanda's blog, she says this is old news from May.
