Slate Debuts Sponsored Textcasts for the iPod

Slate plans to begin "textcasts" of stories delivered directly to the iPod, according to a report in AdWeek. And Lexus is sponsoring them. The downloaded stories appear on the screen attached to 15-minute silent audio file.
