While a lot of the action in social media is here in the US, don't count out other nations. Already we have Netvibes, a popular Web 2.0 start page that has its HQ in Europe, just received funding. Now out of Chile here comes Rezzibo, a nice RSS reader.

And Simpy is a bit of a globtrotter - I developed it on 3 continents so far - Asia (China), Europe (Croatia), and N. America (New York, San Francisco), plus on several trans-Atlantic flights.
