So Technorati is indexing MySpace blogs. Thats probably bad news, and will make Technoratis signal to noise ratio substantially worse. A search for LOL should help you find them.

I have an RSS feed/watchlist set up via Technorati to alert me when my employer's website is blogged. I started seeing results from MySpace blogs on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Yeah I'm really disappointed in Technorati. I know MySpace is all the rage among traffic watchers, but I really question the content and the indexability of it.

what took them so long.
icerocket.com has been indexing social networks for months.
if you are a business and want to know what someone is saying about you, its going to show up on a social network blog first.

User generated content strikes me as a really odd area to try and justify snobbery.
Corporate media disdains blogs as questionable content and bloggers disdain the youth audience for the same reason? That's just absurd. There are a ton of blogs that Technorati indexes which aren't of interest to me. That's fine because other people with different tastes and perspectives enjoy or gain some value from it.
A number of truly talented creators of original work can be found of MySpace. Eric Rice has a presence there. The Four Eyed Monsters high quality, entertaining and meaningful video podcasts have a MySpace presence.
If you think that blogs are the end of the story for social media, you might want to check out some media history. Read about the beginnings of teevee or cable. Online media will continue to evolve. Shutting out portions of the conversation leaves *you* isolated, not those who are creating and those who are listening.
And btw, since you aren't interested in MySpace content, you're probably not aware that the nationwide high school walkouts to protest the House bill on immigration reform was coordinated using MySpace and text messaging. That's pretty weighty use of tools folks. The youth using their online social tools to organize political direct action is not something I've seen Technorati's "blogosphere" accomplish.
I'm just saying....

Technorati should index only blogs about blogging...

Debi has a point.
We bloggers used to be the underdogs of the paper publishing industry. They used to call us "amateur-publisher hacks", etc. Now, a new breed is growing. Myspace blogs. It may engulf all the elite/prime bloggers out there yeah, but this might the vision of the future.
Let's see what happens.

I was using tags and they was not indexing them but they sorted it out. Technorati keep up the good work. Oh check out my site sure you will like my friends. http://www.myspacebackgrounds.eu
