Plusmo is Bellissimo

Last week I blogged about netomat and mobileGlu, two up and coming mobile apps that enable you to mix the content you care about together into a mobile format. Now add a third, plusmo, into the mix.
Plusmo is a free service that you can use to read blog and news feeds on your mobile device. It currently supports a broad range of devices, but for now is limited to Cingular and Sprint here in the US. The value-add is in the packs of RSS-enabled content that users can create, mix and share. For example, here's a pack that aggregates news and information about Angelina Jolie. Others that I am personally fond of are the Starbucks finder and Flickr browser.
The plusmo service also offers some nice tools. This includes a bookmarklet that makes it a snap to add sites to packs and "Add to Plusmo" buttons for bloggers.

Steve, I agree this is an interesting space. These are more than cute tools for your phone, but evidence of a more profound trend: consumers are going to take back control of their mobiles! Carriers won't be able to tell you what you can and can't put on your phone for long...

Hi all, hi Steve
If you are interested in Plusmo, I suggest you also take a look at hubdog. It has just been release. It achieves same functionality in term of rss reader but it also does audio and video podcast together with some community features. Hubdog is only available for Windows Mobile so it is a more specialize for these specific devices.
Worth take a look! www.hubdog.com
Steve! What do you think of Hubdog? Is this Mobile 2.0?
Keep up the good work!
