As any Edelman-ite will tell you, people who use the term "blog relations" in my presence get skinned alive and dunked in lemon juice.

Just the notion that "blog relations" implies that engaging with online communities is "like-media-relations-only-with-a-faster-feedback-loop" or words to that effect. A long-standing connotative bugaboo of mine.

There are larger forces in nature designed to clean up the mess and it is called war. It happens about every 25 years and lasts about a year followed by decades of peace.
