StikiPad Makes Wikis Simple
StikiPad is a really slick Web 2.0 application for creating and managing personal wikis. The feature set is robust. It includes live search and much more. You can even map a domain to your wiki. Bing! The plans are very reasonable too.

I'd like to see someone compare this to Basecamp. One of the smart things the 37 signals folks did with Basecamp (and the suite of free and paid features they offer) was to avoid the "wiki" word altogether. (And this comes from me, Steve, a person who 'loves' the wiki platform.)

here's how new technology is warping the "medium" of poetry. community work on the world's largest choka (not clear AT ALL if this is better or worse than a wiki):

I use basecamp now and compared to this I have a few issues. It looks like Stikipad doesnt do reminders, which is a big reason I use basecamp. But Stikipad does have rss intergration! This is a tough choice. Steve, any thoughts?

Only 5 revisions in the free version? Sorry, but they need to have a better free version for me to stick around.

I needed a simple hosted wiki solution and had a go at this. The number of free revisions just isn't good enough. I chose pbwiki which is much better, IMO.

I use Backpack for the same purposes, and I agree that they'll have to do better with the free version to get me to test-drive it...(I liked backpack so much, I upgraded).

A great ap, but StikiPad's server is often down and they have yet to email me back when I've inquired about outages.
