How to Win Friends and Influence

Kent Newsome has been on a blogging tear lately. I tend to be careful about adding feeds to my aggregator for fear of overload, but I am now totally hooked on Kent's blog. Today he has five outstanding tips for developing a blog audience. The key, as Kent says, is to be different and find ways to build a bridge to other bloggers.

Need more advice here? Check out what Mark Cuban says. I think Kent channeled him. "People aren’t inherently going to search for you; you’ve got to give them a reason to know who you are...Once we get a surge of interest because it’s new and different I think it’s just going to be another medium that people compete in and have to really try to work hard to stand out."
