McDonald's Launches a Stakeholder Blog
McDonald's has launched a new blog called Open for Discussion that will offer perspectives on the company's “aspirations, activities, and challenges ... to make a difference on corporate social responsibility issues that matter.” Judging by the feeds in the left hand column, podcasts are planned as well as well as photos. What responsibility? Does Ronald come over to your house, kidnap children and force the food down their throats?
Oh, sorry - there's no personal responsibility out there.

Right now McDonald's is doing a great job in responding to its critics. They've changed the menu, and this blog has just the right tone. Let's hope they become a model for other companies to follow.
