Wikipedia to Delay Submissions

The Wall Street Journal is reporting in tomorrow's paper (subscription required) that beginning sometime in January, Wikipedia will start a time-delay feature before posting submissions to its most heavily-trafficked pages. On items such as news about a new pope being elected, the Journal reported, the public will see only pages that have been previewed for accuracy by Wikipedia's volunteer panel of editors.
