So Larry Dobrow MediaPost has a story out today - Why Marketers Resist Blogs. It contends that while marketers have enthused non-stop about the potential of blogs as an ad medium, when it comes to actually pulling the trigger on ad deals - epecially in risk-averse sectors like financial services and health care - they have hesitated. That's nonsense. The article fails to mention Adsense. By participating in Google Adwords lots of risk-averse companies are advertising on blogs. Also, as we saw yesterday, they are getting their feet wet with podcasting - a safer, more controlled medium.
