Blog Post Piracy Debate Continues

This weekend's posts about blog content theft and splogs are generating some great discussions that I wanted to link to. You can view others here and here. By the way, did you catch that the New York Times wrote about splogs yesterday in their Year in Ideas issue?

Personally, I just want to thank you for drawing attention to the plagiarism issue online. I've been working on my site to help Webmasters who have been victimized by plagiarism regain control of their work. It's been a very hard task, but with people like you helping to draw so much attention to the issue, it's a big help.

On that note though, I think Webmasters, especially bloggers, need to be educated on the matter and need to understand their rights, both as copyright users and copyright holders.

Anyway, I'm sorry that you've had so much trouble with this, but if there's any way that I can help, feel free to shoot me an email using the contact form on my site.

Take care and good luck!
