Sony PSP Now Supports RSS

Macworld reports that Sony has added RSS support to the Playstation Portable. The new software update is available for download for North American users of the PSP by using the built-in Network Update feature, or by downloading and installing the software through Sony’s Web site. You can demo the RSS capabilities here. Further information is on their site.

This is a step in the right direction but it's not all there yet. This isn't an RSS reader but is instead a way to access Podcasts via RSS with a caveat: it's streaming only so you have to stay connected to the internet via wireless. There's not yet the ability to download and listen offline.
