The innovation doesn't stop. Check out FeedTree. They are trying to solve the bandwidth strain placed on RSS feed publishers by enabling users to ping each other for updates. Their differentiator is that feed updates arrive immediately, instead of on a polling schedule. They say this makes RSS as instantaneous as e-mail. Well, neat. But what about security guys? What's to stop someone from spreading viruses this way? Didn't Kazaa teach us a lesson?
