Google Pulls Shenanigans with Geo-Targeted RSS Ads

ClickZ reports that Google has quietly been running geo-targeted contextual ads in RSS feeds for several months without telling their advertisers. Surely, they're not polling that data for nothing. Is there a grander plan here to harvest data that they can later sell to marketers? Who knows.
