Edelman: 48% of Bloggers Have No Interaction with PR

Edelman has published the findings of their survey of bloggers. Richard Edelman comments on the survey on his blog. The most interesting statistic here is that 48% of the 800+ bloggers surveyed have yet to interact with the PR community. Wanna bet that's going to shrink rapidly? Beyond that, this survey really doesn't tell me anything that I already haven't learned through blogging. I still stick by my earlier position that what we need to do is spend more time training our profession to dabble in this new world through reading feeds and even blogging, rather than spending more time and money analyzing it. However, that said, I applaud Edelman for their effort.
