Boeing Launches a Tip Blog
Boeing has launched a new weblog called inflightHQ that dispenses tips, tools and techniques for inflight productivity. This is a brilliant and very safe application for corporate blogs, which I had espoused earlier. (Via TheNewPRWiki)

Interesting and I agree, a very safe application. Looking at the contributors, this isn't actually a Boeing blog though, it it? It seems to be just sponsored by them. So does this make it a corporate blog or not, Steve?

This isn't a blog that Boeing has launched... they're just advertising on it.
I mean, under the section "Our Network of Blogs", there's a "Pug Blog", a site for an invention that seals ziplock bags, The Blog Business Summit.
I think it's a shame that Boeing didn't commit to making this an official Boeing blog... hosting it at their domain, etc...
This is blog advertising, not blog publishing for Boeing.

Yeah, looks like it's someone else who got Boeing's Connexion to sponsor it exclusively. The domain is owned by Avondale Media, whose Steve Broback is a contributor to inflightHQ.
But if we want to step back for a second, did Connexion make the right move here and get at least one person to think that it was a Boeing-related site?
