Steve Hall from AdRants asks: “Hey Steve, when do you actually work?” Steve, bubbie, speaking engagements ARE work. In all seriousness, just to prove that I do have a job that goes beyond speaking and blogging (technically not part of my job, but that's where life is mushy), I am pleased to unveil the next CooperKatz client blog. This one is for simplehuman. (Wait, don't click yet. Read on because we're giving away neat free stuff.)

simplehuman is more than a company that's too cool for capital letters. They make high-end housewares like a $180 kitchen garbage can that has a lid that closes like a Lexus. All of their products are exquisitely designed. If Steve Jobs designed housewares instead of iPods, he'd be running simplehuman (sorry Frank!).
Rather than have a site that talks just about products, the CK account team suggested that the simplehuman blog have a “higher holy calling.” That calling is to share home lifehacks and time-saving tips. For example, today they're blogging how to fold napkins. Merlin Mann, for all you do, this blog is for you.
One other goal for simplehuman is to become part of the active online GTD/lifehack-loving community. In that spirit, simplehuman is kicking the blog off with a contest called Organize This! They're giving away free simplehuman product to the best home organizing tips that come in via the Flickr tag - organizethis. There's only one catch, you need to submit your entry here.
OK, enuf said. Go kick the tires and, as always, let us all know what you think. You can read more about Evelyn Krasnow - simplehuman's resident blogger - here.
