Some of you have noticed that I put a link to my AOL Instant Messenger status up on my blog. You might even be thinking: why on earth would he do that? One of the qualities of blogs that make them so special is the accessibility (whether real or perceived) of their author's. Microsoft's Robert Scoble has tens of thousands of readers, yet his cell phone number is up on his site. GM Exec Bob Lutz is a busy guy, but he takes the time to let people know he's reading the comments on his blog.
