Tiny Bubbles

MediaPost Columnist George Simpson writes the blog bubble is bursting...

"When bloggers start schlepping down to check the police blotter at 3 a.m. just to make sure the victim's name is spelled correctly, then they can pull up a chair to the adult table."

Ouch. As I see it though, there never was a bubble per se. Is there hype? Yes - and some of it is warranted. But it wasn't like there were all these millionaires minted thanks to the almighty blog.

On a related note, George, you put some serious zingers in your column today. You will get blogged. I only wish you had a blog so we can trackback you and leave comments. But I guess that would mean assimilating you.
