SplashBlog Group Moblogging

Man, getting a Treo 650 changes your life. It has me seeing first hand just how much you can do now with a mobile device. Take SplashBlog, for example. It's a photo-blogging tool for smartphones that allows multiple users to post photos to the same blog. Here's some sample SplashPhoto blogs.

What's more, GeekZone reports that SplashBlog lets users subscribe to other user's SplashBlogs, enabling them to automatically download all new photos posted to the photoblogs to which they are subscribed to.

SplashData, which makes SplashBlog, has been around awhile. Let's say they strike a deal with Palm or one of the carriers to get bundled. I think you could see them give Flickr a run, particularly as smartphones become more widespread and the cameras improve. Competition is a good thing.
