The Mercury News reports that "in a case with implications for the freedom to blog," a judge tentatively ruled Thursday that Apple can force three online publishers to surrender the names of confidential sources who disclosed information about the company's upcoming products late last year. Keep an eye on this case. Whatever its final outcome, it could have a significant impact on bloggers at least in the US.
