- Darren Barefoot has put together a three-part tutorial for becoming a Newsmaster. It includes using PubSub to track your URL, name and keywords and using Feedster to search retrospectively for your name and keywords
- 37 Signals, the geniuses behind Basecamp, are running an online survey that reveals the power of word-of-mouth marketing
- Friends in High Places: Susan Mernit is now writing for Engadget
- Friends in Higher Places: Mary Hodder was profiled on Wired News. Sounds like we are separated at birth, Mary. You should see my paperless office. You'd be jealous.
- Friends in the Highest Places: Rex Hammock drops in on George W for the holidays!
- Renee Blodgett reports Firefox made ABC World News tonight in a big way. Excellent!
- Loic Le Meur says Le Monde has become one of the first newspapers in the world to offer blogs to their readers, under their brand. They have also published a ranking of the 10 top blogs, mixing their journalists blogs and their readers blogs, showing them at the same level, based on blog readers recommendations.
- Last but not least, Mark Glaser and Jay Rosen outline their vision of Journalism 2.0. I will have more to say about this in the coming days. I have a company in mind who I believe is in the best position to make this happen.
