Sony TV Legal Contacts Popular Blogger

It looks like popular blogger Jason Kottke is in some hot water with Sony TV's legal department because he posted audio of Ken Jennings' Jeopardy loss. It's so disconcerting to him, in fact, that he is considering giving up blogging altogether. This has a lot of bloggers up in arms, including Tom Biro and Anil Dash. I hope this gets peacefully resolved and that we one day don't end up referring to this as Sony v. Kottke (2004). This has the making of a potential downer.

UPDATE: PubSub now has a feed to track what's being said about this topic. It should start populating with results shortly.
