Three Steps to Reading RSS Feeds in Firefox
John Bokma offers one of the simplest explanations I've seen on how to read RSS feeds in Firefox. If you haven't started playing with RSS, downloading Firefox
is perhaps one of the easiest ways to get started. It's also by far the
best browser available, at least for Windows. So you gain much more
than a newsreader.

It's interesting the new complete release 0.1 has changed the feed icon. It's still orange but it's not marked RSS as per your screen shot. Now it's just a little broadcast symbol. Are they trying to protect us from techy jargon? Or do they just want to emphasis they have a one-size-fits-all solution?

I think they are trying to simplify it, which in my view, is always a good thing.

I liked the orange XML (RSS) button better ... it's a symbol that is more broadly recognized which leads to easier comprehension.

That sucks ... no email protection and it calls my URL spam when I try to link my URL ... what gives, Steve? I'm no spammer!

Thanks Steve for blogging my article. I have written another one about Firefox: Keymarks explained (http://johnbokma.com/firefox/keymarks-explained.html)
I hope to write several more articles about Firefox.
