Editorial calendars are a staple of most PR campaigns. They help us pitch into stories that are already in development. Problem is they're a bit tough to track. There's a nice opportunity out there for someone to publish an editorial calendar RSS feed. Such a feed would aggregate changes and updates from different publications.
Alternately, the publishers themselves might want to consider doing the same with their own "edcals." Perhaps Infoworld and eWeek, who have been leading the RSS charge, can start here.
Ideally, however, it would be best if someone like Bacons/MediaMap aggregated many editorial calendars by category and published them via RSS.
